I spent all day yesterday in 30° heat cutting and planing doors outside, then lifting them into a house and carrying them up and down the stairs multiple times across five separate doors. I drank around five pints of water and had to stop about ten times to wipe the literal sweat from my brow. I was tired, yet I still got the job done.
There is an argument to be made for things like mandatory water or shade breaks in manual labour, especially where employers are reckless. There is no argument for office workers sat at a desk with a fan or air conditioning.
I was reading David Lynch's autobiography/hagiography and I learned he made a slapstick version of 30rock? It's all on the internet archive? Completely maligned?
Amazing to know.

Hey folks, it's been a while since I've plugged my etsy shop so here we go!
I've currently got my Disco Elysium RCM patches on a 15% off sale if you're looking to jazz up your jacket or bag with some sick Revacholian clobber [made in scotland]
PSA to new players that every penny that goes in ZAUMs pocket funds the lawyers in the ongoing battle for Disco Elysium IP.
They put the game on Epic to advertise Zero Parades & get wishlisted by association. The same people are not at ZAUM & this company shouldn’t be supported.
Murderers shouldn’t be sat in prison playing Xbox.
Officers shouldn’t have to be bringing the Southport murderer Haribo.
David Lammy must change these cushy and ridiculous rules today.
