@BrentLindeque Each service introducing a paywall will reverse the decision soon enough, or fade into irrelevance. The platforms have worked because they "roll the internet into friends, family, news, and general interest" into a single destination. Nothing about them irreplaceable.

@TboozeSA Corruption is not unique to any group, but egregious when breaking the public trust and robbing citizens for personal gain. Corruption in the private sector carries a greater chance of real consequences while public servants appear immune to sanction. Neither is acceptable.

@SATechExplored The wildest part of this thread is the people defending profit-hungry medical aids. Medical aids exist because no government can be trusted to run effective public healthcare. Human health doesn't belong on a balance sheet. The health sector is morally bankrupt.
