Let’s be honest, the only good thing infold could do right now is release Valko as intended. Sorry in advance cuz this will be a LONG text.

That being said:
I've seen a lot of people being anxious regarding the latest news and whether or not Valko will come into the game as an LI or not so I wanted to share my own thoughts on that.
Please keep in mind these are my own opinions on the situation at hand, nothing is 100% confirmed.

First of all regarding the silence from Infold:
I know it's frustrating and annoying but seeing it from a neutral perspective rn I think it might truly have been because of all the controversy and hate circulating around the company itself after the false allegations have been made.
Maybe they simply couldn't offer a statement for the time being because of that and to keep their employees safe, which is also very understandable.
Whether or not Valko will release as a character to the game now is a completely different thing altogether.
My opinion on this is that they WILL release him as an LI, everything else would be complete and utter idiocy.
Color me impressed if they actually stick to his cancelation.
I've kept myself up to date with (most) of the public opinion and after his initial trailer the negative voices were actually the majority
BUT I've seen the tides changing after his PV, people were starting to warm up to him, which only became more clearer after the livestream
But there still was the minority of people who drastically stood against his release, which I don't need to go into detail about since we all saw the news about the cow dung etc
Infold might have not taken our boycott serious in the first 2 days but everything that came after that? They def did

To keep the motivations up I'm just gonna drop a list of things that speak for his release in my humble opinion
(Please correct me if I say anything wrong here):
-The global reputation, Valko became a sensation overnight and the symbol of "Love overcomes Hate" nearly the whole world knows his name by now.
-His cancelation letter, now that one is interesting since we know by now that their statement doesn't have the official stamp like all their other announcements have, something that def gives them option to simply reverse.
-Marketing: Valko has got to be their BIGGEST opportunity money wise now and I am not exaggerating. So many players planned on returning to the game or to start altogether just for his release, his association with Donations and overall Positivity is the cherry on the cake for a business to feast upon.
- Game facts: This one is the strongest argument so far. Despite being "canceled" they still didn't delete anything regarding his arrival. The "Coming soon" was still present even AFTER changes have been made in the game (Catch-22 Outfit alterations, new Plushie, Xavier's WU being taken off, etc). Why would a company keep those things in the game if they are 100% certain they will delete him out of it?
- The Anti "community" : First of all huge shoutout to @Alpackaaa for providing us with all the data and for doing SO MUCH💚! We've clearly seen that a lot of hateful comments have been clearly done by bots. Not all of them but most of them. On top of that a Summary done by an AI showed that 80% of the comment section was overall positive towards Valko, marking the negative comments as a minority between 5% and 15%.

To sum all of this up:
I wholeheartedly believe that Valko WILL return. They might alter a few things in his story (because of the "Inviting the wolf into the house" situation) but I firmly believe that there won't be much alterations made to him.
His visuals won't change. To reconstruct an already finished character like that takes way too much resources and money and would simply be stupid.
Simple alterations can be made like with the Catch-22 outfits (which to be fair are not that complicated) but not a fleshed out character.
Infold would simply dig his own grave with not releasing him.
So don't give up, don't lose hope.

we have to keep fighting. we cant give up yet. if infold want to scrap him completely they would do so more cleanly, in reality there is still many traces of valko around so lets use that as a glimpse of hope in this time.

as much as we need to be realistic, we also cant just stop so lets do this.
