This is the Man Down Cornwall campaign video for 2024. It’s a thought-provoking watch, but that’s exactly what we want it to be.

Far too many men suffer in silence and are not able to talk openly about how they feel about themselves, their lives and the world around them.

The stigma of male mental health needs to end.

Man Down run talking meetings around Cornwall (UK) for men with mental health concerns. Meetings are run by male volunteers with lived experience of mental health. We run these meetings to help men talk to other men in a safe, supportive environment without judgement.

Together we can eradicate the stigma of male mental health.

We want this video to be shared far and wide. We want to make men understand that the trauma effect and the destruction left behind after a life is taken is unbearable and utterly devastating for everyone involved.

We are so very proud to share this with you all.

Broadcaster and former Olympian Jeanette Kwakye joins ITV’s top rated The Martin Lewis Money Show Live which is back with a new series at 8pm tonight.

The hour-long live show is written and hosted by Martin Lewis, giving viewers the latest money news, need-to-knows and crucial strategies to save people much needed cash.

The programme, which moves into its 13th series, has become essential viewing for millions over the last decade.

Jeanette was a champion sprinter and member of the GB Olympics squad before moving into presenting on radio and television.

Martin said:

“Jeanette is set to be a brilliant addition to the show.  This is such an important series, as we���re far from out of the cost of living crisis – energy bills are set to be bigger this winter than the last horrific one, car insurance renewals are up over 60%, interest rates have rocketed. I need a great presenter with me in the studio to keep me in order and on track, so I can get as much information out in the hour, so who better to join the show than a former Olympic sprinter with her fast feet on the ground.”
