🚨BREAKING: Matty Johns has bought a stake in the Gold Coast Titans.

Matt Johns has become a part-owner of the Gold Coast Titans after purchasing a minority stake in the club, with the deal to be officially announced on Monday.

Johns and his wife Trish reached terms with Titans owner Rebecca Frizelle following the exit of former co-owner Darryl Kelly. It’s understood Johns disclosed the move to Fox Sports, who approved his investment.

Johns believes the Titans are a “sleeping giant” ready to rise under new coach Josh Hannay and views the venture as a long-term partnership to help Frizelle “turn the Titans into an NRL juggernaut.”
