@DomShawEcho Not going to be a very popular opinion, and the second goal would never have been stopped by any keeper, but has this new keeper actually looked like an upgrade on Sol yet? If you concede few chances, but lots of goals, then something isn’t right.

@DomShawEcho I say this every year, but it’s impossible to predict the league before the window closes. A favourite could have their superstar (Bowen?) tempted away just before the deadline or someone could pull off a master stroke in the same period & quickly improve their chances

@sarahfinn8 I say this every season, until I’m blue in the face, but until the transfer window closes and we know who has added potential game changers (or lost some massive players in the last week) then it is almost impossible to know who will do well or who will struggle

@craig_johns Neither of those are much of a shock. Adds to Brown, Targett, Forss, Lenihan, Silvera, Barlaser, Gilbert, Hackney and Fry who have all left the squad since the end of the season. I expect Edmundson to leave too in the next few weeks

@Scottwilsonecho Are you surprised though? We all know that the FFP rules were brought in by ‘the likes of’ Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal etc to prevent ‘the likes of’ Villa doing what Chelsea did and buying their way into that elite.
