if you look closely that's a fucking earth bending form she uses to part the sea which i bet she learned from watching toph and she does it for the first time at high speeds with her loved ones' lives at stake... i will always stan master katara ilysm
every time i see this scene i think about that post someone wrote saying that even as an adult aang can only imagine gyatso as taller than him cuz he only ever knew him from a child's point of view
Damn socialists...
This is exactly how it starts.
First it's groceries 30% cheaper. Then affordable housing. Then cheaper transit. Then accessible education.
Before you know it, people won't be struggling enough.
What is a "surprise song"? Are setlists posted in advance now? Every concert I ever went to the band just played and you had no idea what was coming next, it was part of the experience.
Is that not a thing anymore?
I personally think the statue issue is Nickelodeon's fault. You see the statues were shown in the first two seasons to which you can tell the rest of the gaang were supposed to be dead except Katara. But Nickelodeon kept renewing the series and it was already too late
it is not lost on me that people do not appreciate the writing of aang's prolonged grief about his people in the middle of one of the most horrific genocides of our generation
