Celebrating progress in Mbarara City!

Greater Mbarara @Onc_nrm1 Coordinator Ms. Aisha Bukenya joined the RCC Mbarara City North Jackie Kankunda to officially open 2 newly built classroom blocks at Nyabuhama Primary School, funded by the Government of Uganda under the Ministry of Education.

Alongside the grand opening, the team conducted a monitoring visit to assess school progress and address key challenges.

As part of countrywide monitoring, ONC Buvuma Coordinator Ekopu Ibrahim visited Bugabo Primary School.

With 275 pupils & 12 teachers, the school faces major gaps: no fence, poor water access, & housing shortages.

PLE results saw 39 candidates with no Div 1. Urgent intervention needed!

Mr. Byaruhanga Seith visited Omuntebe Primary School, Kazo district in a move to assess the progress and key challenges the school face.

The school administrators are grateful for the support from the government under Ministry of education which has enabled the pupils receive service in time and creating a learning environment for learners.

President @KagutaMuseveni honored the legacy of the late Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV during the coronation of Tooro’s new monarch, Omukama Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I, in Fort Portal.

Speaking at the event, the President commended the late King Oyo for his immense contributions to both the Tooro Kingdom and Uganda.

Furthermore, President Museveni called upon cultural leaders to champion responsible family values, uphold traditional marriage structures, and actively protect Uganda’s native languages, indigenous sciences, traditional crafts, and overall cultural heritage.

Enrollment has slightly dropped due to long distances and negative parental attitudes.

Kyarugome P/S urgently needs classroom blocks, staff quarters and water tanks , it has never received government support.

He also visited Rwampororo Memorial P/S in Sheema Municipality where learning was ongoing.

In a diverse society, we must learn to coexist.

Diverse opinions and political differences are natural, but they should never become an excuse for hostility.

Healthy discourse requires us to challenge ideas without attacking the dignity of the person behind them.
