Six months ago, tonight, Tehran went dark. All of Iran went dark. And into that darkness, millions of Iranians walked out of their homes anyway.

January 8th and 9th were not just two nights of protest. They were the night Iran's silence broke. Millions came into the streets, into the squares, onto their rooftops — but the regime answered them with bullets. Tens of thousands of my compatriots were killed in those forty-eight hours. Tens of thousands more have been arrested, tortured, and sentenced to die since.

They came out, determined and brave. I think of them every day. On those two nights I lost countrymen I will never get to meet. I do not hear a statistic when I hear the number 40,000. I see a son who did not come home to his mother. A daughter who will not sit at her family's table again. I think of each of them the way I would think of my own child, my own brother, my own sister. I carry the weight of every one of those names. But the families of the fallen I meet with, week after week, hearten our nation's will to carry on. Their children did not die in vain. They died for freedom, and they died with pride.

History will remember what these men and women did; I will make sure of it. Like the resistance who stood against tyranny in occupied Europe, and like the revolutionaries who fought for liberty in America. But theirs was a particular bravery. They had no army, no air cover, nothing but the belief in what they stood for. They stood anyway. A united nation choosing to face the guns together rather than live one more day in fear. The men and women of the 8th and 9th of January will be remembered in Iran's history as the greatest generation that preferred to die free and standing than to live cowered on their knees.

To the international community, I ask this: do not let a negotiating table in Geneva or Islamabad erase what happened in the streets of Tehran, Mashhad, and Kermanshah. They died for freedom. And when they are free, the Strait of Hormuz will open. The nuclear threat will end. And we will have true peace.

I have told my compatriots: what you did on January 8th and 9th cannot be undone. Together, we will reclaim our country’s rightful place in the world, our national dignity, and honor the lives of our heroes. Now is the time to reassess, regroup, and rededicate ourselves to victory.

We honor the fallen by finishing what they started. A free Iran is no longer a matter of hope. It is a matter of fact.

And know that my brave compatriots are not just fighting for their own liberation but for the peace and stability of the world.

IRANIAN LIVES MATTER!

My dear compatriots,

As the people of Iran courageously stand against the Islamic Republic—the occupier of Iran—and as this wounded, despised, and isolated regime continues its assaults on the lives and property of our people in a futile attempt to delay its inevitable fall, I consider it my duty to more clearly articulate the contours of justice in a future Iran for those who may be contemplating cooperation with the perpetrators of this regime.

To that end, I requested that the Committee for Drafting Transitional Justice Program in Iran provide its advisory opinion on two important issues: first, the criminal liability of individuals who cooperate with the Islamic Republic’s repressive structures; and second, the confiscation of property belonging to protesters and their families.

The Committee has now issued its first advisory opinion.
Its message is clear: these acts are not simple or insignificant forms of cooperation; they constitute aiding and abetting crimes against humanity. No position, order, or excuse can eliminate individual criminal liability. Accordingly, anyone who knowingly and voluntarily cooperates with the regime’s repressive structures—whether inside or outside Iran—must understand that they will face criminal liability:

whether such cooperation takes the form of reporting or informing;
whether it takes the form of participation in checkpoints;
whether it takes the form of using children or adolescents in the repression of protesters; and
whether it takes the form of acquiring, transferring, buying, or selling property confiscated from protesters and their families in the course of repression.

Yes, not only those who play a role in issuing such orders, enforcing them, or facilitating these confiscations will face liability, but also those who knowingly and voluntarily acquire or sell such property must be held accountable. That liability includes the use of their assets or property to compensate the original owners for the harm inflicted on them.

Therefore, I warn all those considering cooperation with this regime’s machinery of repression: before taking any action that causes physical, financial, or social harm to the people of Iran, think of your future and that of your family. Think of the day when Iran will be free;
the day when the truth will no longer be hidden;
the day when names will be revealed; and
the day when no perpetrator can escape accountability before the law.

The Iranian nation will have a government that respects its people’s rights and will transform Iran into a free and prosperous country.

هم‌میهنانم، درود می‌فرستم به تک‌تک شما که شجاعانه در هفته‌ای که گذشت، خواب را از خامنه‌ای و رژیمش گرفتید. به ویژه می‌خواهم به نوجوانان و جوانان میهن‌پرست کشورمان درود بفرستم که من آنها را «نسل وی» برای Victory یا پیروزی می‌نامم.

همانطور که پیش از این گفتم، مسأله کلیدی، تداوم تسخیر خیابان‌هاست و ایجاد راه‌بندان برای جلوگیری و مانع‌شدن از سرکوب رژیم.

از رهبری قاطع و حمایت شما از هم‌میهنانم سپاسگزارم. هشدار شما به سرکردگان جنایتکار جمهوری اسلامی، به ملت ایران قدرت و امید بیشتری می‌دهد؛ امید به اینکه سرانجام رئیس‌جمهوری از ایالات متحده آمریکا قاطعانه در کنارشان ایستاده است.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در بخشی از گفتگو با شبکه بریتانیایی عرب زبان اسکای نیوز عربی در پاسخ به سوال مجری مبنی بر این که آیا جمهوری اسلامی با حمله به اسرائيل مرتکب اشتباه شده است، گفت که علی خامنه‌ای�� رهبر جمهوری اسلامی دچار توهم است که می‌تواند سیاست «زمین سوخته» را در قبال اسرائيل اجرا کند.
شاهزاده رضا پهلوی گفت: « به نظر می‌رسد خامنه‌ای دچار توهماتی شده که او را به این باور رسانده که قادر به آغاز چنین حمله‌ای است و شاید به دنبال اجرای سیاست زمین سوخته باشد. این موضوع چه معنایی برای مردم ایران دارد؟ این سؤالی است که باید پرسید.»
شاهزاده رضا پهلوی افزود: «مردم ایران بارها از طرق مختلف نشان داده‌اند که از سیاست‌های خامنه‌ای رنج می‌برند و شعارهایی مانند نه غزه، نه لبنان، جانم فدای ایران را سرداده‌اند. این شعارها نشان‌دهنده این است که بسیاری از مردم ایران بر این باورند که نباید منابع و زندگی آن‌ها برای لبنان یا غزه قربانی شود. شعارهای دیگری نیز در اعتراضات مطرح شده که بر دشمن داخلی در ایران تمرکز دارد، نه اسرائیل یا آمریکا.»
شاهزاده رضا پهلوی همچنین افزود: «در سال‌های اخیر، به‌ویژه از طریق شبکه‌های اجتماع��، رسانه‌های بین‌المللی و افکار عمومی جهانی بیش از پیش به شرایط ایران آگاه شده‌اند. باید این نکته را درک کرد که اکثریت بزرگی از مردم ایران با این نظام مخالف هستند و خواهان تغییرات بنیادین‌اند. آن‌ها امیدوارند که جامعه بین‌المللی از خواسته‌های مردم ایران برای تغییر حمایت کند.»

رژیم جمهوری اسلامی با اقدامات خرابکارانه، تروریسم و باج‌خواهی، ایران را به انزوا کشانده و جایگاه و احترام ایرانیان را در جامعه بین‌المللی خدشه‌دار کرده است. زیر سوال بردن حق حاکمیت ملی ایران بر جزایر سه‌گانه ایرانی در نشست مشترک کشورهای عربی خلیج فارس و اتحادیه اروپا، از پیامدهای ضعف و زبونی جمهوری اسلامی است. این رژیم ضدملی، بزرگترین تهدید برای آب و خاک و تمامیت ارضی ایران به شمار می‌رود.

If the European Council were serious about addressing the threat of the Islamic Republic, it would designate the IRGC a terrorist organization and back UN spanback sanctions on the regime. Instead it insults the Iranian people by supporting perversions of history and colonialist violations of Iranian territorial integrity. Iran's sovereignty over the islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa in the Persian Gulf, is not up for debate.
