What is the posterior compartment of the thigh innervated by?

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Musculocutaneous nerve innervates: coracobrachialis, biceps brachii and brachialis muscles. You would lose flexion.

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Let's continue reviewing! Question: if I cut the musculocutaneous nerve, what muscles would be affected and what main function is lost?

This is correct for out pitcher question! supraspinatus initiates abduction https://t.co/CzPM6PqJxA

[khal dwago 🌙☀️✨ @dhwanipatel21]

@M_3PM_251LAB supraspinatus?

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

If a pitcher feels pain while abducting arm and his trainer told him it might be a rotator cuff injury, what muscle was most likely injured?

Lumbrical's actions made simple 😊 Think about holding a pea. Your hand makes a shape of an L for Lumbricals.

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Guys: do not forget to study attachment sites in your lab manual (the page with the hand structures). Those are NOT functional questions!

@Katherine_Hare yes!! Radial nerve innervates the posterior forearm.

Friday review: what nerve innervates the posterior forearm muscles?

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Thursday review answer: short head biceps brachii, coracobrachialis and pectoralis minor

Thursday review question: what three muscles attach to the coracoid process of the scapula?

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Wednesday question answer: flexors of forearm- medial epicondyle, extensors of forearm- lateral epicondyle

The spinal accessory nerve is your backpack (spinal) and necklace (accessory)! It innervates your trapezius and sternocleidomastoid muscles!

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Good tips to help in studying!

[M_3PM_251LAB @M_3PM_251LAB]

Wednesday question: What common origin site is for the flexors of the forearm and what is the common origin site for the extensors?
