If you’ve been in Kampala the last 48 hours, you’ve SEEN Phaneroo. Not just on a poster, but in person. Street after street, junction after junction, preaching with a purpose (their Saturday Anniversary)

Now, you might roll your eyes at street preaching, but hear me out. Amongst all activities, I saw them helping students cross busy roads, feeding women who sweep our streets, lifting things for the eldery, tidied up the spaces they used, pulled off cultural performances...and even a street wedding proposal

As a Muslim, I won’t be attending the anniversary. But as an #OOH enthusiast, I’m impressed. Here is an interactive #billboard, walking the talk in real time. Also, imagine the cost if each preaching spot had been replaced with an actual billboard? It made me remember: the best #OOH doesn’t just get you to look... You feel it. I FELT THIS CAMPAIGN, yet I don't even subscribe to Phaneroo

WHY WE DO NOT JUDGE I

Job 1:8(KJV): And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

The irony of Job's story is in what God thought of Him and what His friends perceived from his circumstances.

In our theme scripture, the Lord boasts over how upright His servant Job was.

By contrast, His friends condemned him and concluded that his suffering was a result of his sins and unrighteousness.

Eliphaz the Temanite had this to say, “Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off? Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.” (Job 4:7-8).

How wrong we can be about people!

This is the reason why you should never be quick to judge any man.

You may paint as unrighteous who the Lord considers perfect in His sight. You may consider guilty who the Lord counts as innocent. You may write off as finished one whose story God is simply starting.

Judging others can place you at opposite ends of God's purposes.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 7:1-3; John 5:30

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this instruction. I receive it as wisdom in how I relate with every one around me. I choose to pray for those suffering other than judge them. This is the mark of Your love at work through me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
