Coach Wade pre: not everything that happened in our first meeting will duplicate tonight. They’re not exactly who they were in November nor are we…they picked at our mismatches and we fouled first game. They were in the bonus early and it puts you in a bad spot.

Coach Wade post: we had point blank shots. Got to make those. Onyenso’s killed us all year. Rebounding was better here we battled.played w better effort but need to combine w details and discipline. Have been coaching effort instead of details. Hopefully now we see what it takes

Coach Wade pre:we get beat in the wash of the game v UVA. We have played them 80 mins. First half of each 4 halves we have won 78-71 last part of halves they beat us by 34. You have to be disciplined.Can’t waste possessions. Other teams don’t. WF almost beat UVA. Need Adjustments

Coach Wade post: We got to the FT line a lot and Ven did a great job sealing and moving pieces, but give Stanford credit tough late shots and loose balls. I told our guys we have great things left in us this year. Need to be tougher than our circumstances. Need to show it.

Coach Wade post: they’re in a different league than us right now. It showed in the physicality especially in the front court. Boozer boy he’s a good player. We went 2-3 zone to try and avoid fouls. We will mix it up moving forward. Massive work between now and Saturday.

Coach Wade pre: need to make Cam Boozer make shots can’t just walk him to the FT line. Isaiah Evans is a legit 3+D guy and will show that at next level.They look like a veteran team that’s been together a while. Need to make multiple passes to beat their D. Gotta get in the paint

Coach Wade pre: our desperation to make the ncaa tourney needs to be better than theirs (ND) to make the ACC tourney. Our energy is good. But without an edge and discipline it makes it difficult to punch above your weight class.
