오랜만에 댕소리 한 번 제대로 찌끄려보겠습니다.
WLFI가 여전히 부진한 이유에 대한 냉정한 관점,
그리고 그 너머의 구조적 그림

표면적으로 보면 포럼 이후에도 가격이 횡보·조정 국면에 머무르는 게 이상해 보일 수 있다.
하지만 이는 오히려 의도된 준비 단계로 읽힌다.
2026년 2월 Mar-a-Lago에서 열린 World Liberty Forum은 단순한 네트워킹 행사가 아니었다.
Goldman Sachs, CFTC, Franklin Templeton 등 TradFi 거물들과 정책·기술 리더들이 한자리에 모인 자리에서 논의된 것은 레거시 금융의 구조적 전환과 USD1 중심의 차세대 달러 생태계였다.

이 포럼은 WLFI 가격을 즉시 띄우기 위한 쇼가 아니라, 고래급 기관들의 참여를 위한 신호탄이었다.
실제로 포럼 참석자 규모(약 400명 선)는 ��미 초대장 수준의 엘리트 네트워크를 보여줬고, 이후 USD1 관련 인센티브 확대·스테이킹 요구사항(180일 락업 등) 강화·RWA 토큰화 로드맵 공개 등이 연이어 나왔다.

왜 가격이 아직 안 오르는가? 세 가지 뇌피셜

[확장 우선 모드]
USD1의 온체인·오프체인 사용량은 급증 중이다. Multichain 지원, BitGo를 통한 1:1 redeemable 구조, Proof of Reserves 공개 등으로 안정성과 투명성을 확보하면서 실사용 기반을 다지고 있다. 이 과정에서 WLFI는 유동성 제공·인센티브 보상으로 대량 방출되고 있다. 즉, 지금은 가격 방어보다 네트워크 효과 극대화에 집중하는 국면이다. 바이백·소각은 아직 제한적 수준(수수료 일부)인 이유도 여기에 있다.

[고래 온보딩을 위한 의도적 압박]
초기 로드맵에 이미 스테이킹·거버넌스 강화가 명시되어 있었다. 가격을 일부러 눌러놓고 “USD1 수익률이 안정적이고 실질적”이라는 메시지를 고래들에게 전달하는 전략으로 보인다. 포럼 이후 기관급 참여자들이 WLFI를 단순 투기 자산이 아닌 장기 거버넌스 + 수익 자산으로 인식하게끔 유도하는 중이다. 진짜 고래들이 본격 진입하면 유동성 풀과 소각 압력이 동시에 폭발할 가능성이 크다.

[신세계 질서의 판 깔기]
USD1은 단순 스테이블코인이 아니다. U.S. Government Money Market Funds 등으로 백업된, 달러의 디지털 업그레이드 버전으로 포지셔닝되고 있다. RWA(상품·부동산 등 토큰화) 롤아웃, lending platform(World Liberty Markets) 출시, 국가 차원의 규제 정합성 추구(은행 charter 신청 가능성 언급)까지 — 이 모든 것이 하나의 거대한 ATM을 구���하는 과정이다. WLFI는 그 ATM의 거버넌스 키이자, 생태계 성장에 따른 가치 흡수 장치다.

지금의 조용함은 폭풍 전의 고요다. 가격 하락에 흔들릴 필요 없다.
