This isn’t about one loss. It’s about six, ten, twenty years of the same questions, the same excuses and the same resets. Gamecock fans have shown up. They’ve paid. They’ve believed. They’ve defended this program to the ends of the earth.
At some point, the program has to show them something in return. Saturday night wasn’t the problem. It was the latest symptom.
The loyalty is still there, but the belief in this program is cracking. Loyalty has a breaking point. And South Carolina is getting dangerously close to finding it.

Fire Paul Mainieri
Tonight. Not tomorrow.
Let Monte have it rest of season and clean house after season unless Monte gets this team to a regional and looks competent. And then I still may argue the point of getting rid of everyone.
The Mainieri experiment is OVER.
There's a throw downfield.
There's a Nyck Harbor catch and touchdown.
If I'm him, I hand that to the ref and say, "Does that count?" with a colorful metaphor after it.
64 yards. 23-11 USC, 7:42, fourth.
Behind the scenes of South Carolina baseball

The bottom line ...
It's going to come down to Alabama or South Carolina for that final playoff spot.
The Gamecocks were 3 TD underdogs in Tuscaloosa & lost by two.
It's obvious which team is hotter. SC crushed Vandy and OU.
The committee either goes brand or most-deserving.
