After a short vacation we are back online with great news. Maarten van Trijp won the ronde van Poeldijk today in solo fashion after a last lap attack from a group of 4.

Not the race I hoped for in @Polderkoers @HollandCupCC , not selective enough due to the (to) good weather conditions. Took the bunchsprint witch resulted in an 8th place @CyclingTalents

Not my day in the Braakman. In the beginning of the race a mechanical issue with my chain on every cobble section. Switched bikes after 100km’s but never the less it cost me a lot of power and energy what I missed in the final. Also wearing the orange didn’t make thing easier 😜!

First crit win of the season in Gerwen. Due to a bad day on the bike it turned in to a real sufferfest. But a win makes suffering worth it 😜!

After 10km’s my race in Huijbergen was over. Due to the crash my derailleur broke and that was it for the day. Pity tho legs felt strong and grinta was high! Oh and after 18years of racing I finally have my first “teeth scar” in my thigh. Otherwise a clean crash for me🙈.

Wake-up call today in Bruinisse, had fun until the hard crash in the peloton. Makes you realise there’s more in life than racing bikes! Good call of the jury to cancel the race, a man’s life is more important than anything!! All the best to the injured!

Bittersweet bronze it is @DRucphen. Legs, shape and @CyclingTalents team were great. But 2 strong leaders decided otherwise, chapeau!
