I’m sharing this again and would love it if people who like cabaret, musical theater, social criticism, and epic love stories would watch it. I promise it would be worth your time. ❤️ https://t.co/BFWv5AyECZ
Funny thing: when I watched #EleanorParker's 3rd guest role on "Fantasy Island", I realized that at times she looked A LOT like older Julie Andrews, which is so ironic since TSOM is considered their most famous appearance.
That's Ellie in the pic, not Julie. Crazy, right?
Between 1977-1983, #EleanorParker guest-starred in "Fantasy Island" 3 times. Each time in a different role. These screenshots are from her 2nd appearance in 1979, and she had a lovely, mature love plotline in it. It's hard to recognize her in this role, but she looks stunning!
And just like that, the renewed war is over.
I don’t even know how to react to the last 24 hours except by realizing that my nervous system is not capable of handling this anymore.
I just know I’m gonna get sick just from the stress.
One more reason I somewhat enjoyed "Il Tigre" is this final scene, in which #EleanorParker proved that she was also a fantastic dancer.
I know she danced and sang in "Applause," the stage version of "All About Eve," but sadly, I haven't found a recording of that.
#EleanorParker's "Il Tigre" is definitely NOT my favorite film of hers. For one, her voice is dubbed into Italian. Also, I'm not too fond of Italian films.
But she looks fantastic here as the heartbroken wife who turns a blind eye to her husband's cheating. And the dark hair!!!
#EleanorParker did this Italian film called "Il Tigre" in 1967. There's this scene where she asks the question in the screenshot.
She means the bed vibrations or something, but I legit laugh every time I see it.
The war has renewed. Daycare is canceled. I really wanted to go to work tomorrow, I really want my routine. I don’t want to stay at home with a toddler going through the terrible twos. I just want to have a normal life.
What a frakked up day I’ve had.
#EleanorParker didn't like the film "Chain Lightning". She thought her role was dull and that Humphrey Bogart was too old for his (though she praised his professionalism). She was forced into making it by the studio.
It's not my favorite film of hers, but it's not bad, actually.
One of #EleanorParker's most underrated films, "The Seventh Sin" is in my Top 5. Critics referred to her character as selfish. I find her very relatable.
The visuals and custom design in this film are exquisite. The colorized version livens the film and takes it to a new level.
Here are screenshots from one of #EleanorParker's earliest full-length films, "The Very Thought of You".
It's one of her nicest feel-good films. Just good ol' romance with a happy ending.
This film is originally B&W, but I got a colorized version. 1/2
One of my favorite #EleanorParker films, #Caged is a 1950 version of Orange Is The New Black.
Ellie is fantastic as an innocent and pregnant 19-year-old sent to prison for a crime her husband committed, and is let down by the system.
She should have won that Oscar.
Here’s a little teaser from my song “Kinky” that I wrote and created for Pride Month. 🏳️🌈
It’s going to be released on streaming platforms tomorrow.
And no worries, despite the name it’s completely SFW.

This is probably the most chilling scene from this film. Eleanor is so fantastic in this and this role reminds me a lot of an earlier version of Baroness Schraeder.
Plus the outfits are almost as good as those of the Baroness.
If you knew anything about music, you'd know that the best piano is one that's been played

My favorite #EleanorParker scenes in "Scaramouche" (which is easily one of my favorite films of hers).
The last one is probably the most stunning outfit an actress has ever worn in American cinema.
My favorite #EleanorParker scenes from "Interrupted Melody" are when she sings the arias from "Samson and Delilah" and her final reprise of "Tristan und Isolde".
No wonder she got an Oscar nomination for this role. Too bad she was snubbed for all three of her nominations.
