In first year I saw an Indian dude who had my entire tuition worth of apple products on his desk meanwhile another dude didn’t have a place to sleep for the first 2-3 weeks of school.
There’s no greater reality check than your first year of university. It completely destroys whatever bubble you grew up living in.
