A Marine’s contribution doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.
You see it in the father who teaches his children resilience.
In the veteran who still checks on the brothers and sisters he served beside.
In the quiet man at the grocery store who stands a little taller when the anthem plays.
In the woman who can lead any room without raising her voice.

The truth about Marines:
They never stop being Marines.
They never lose their fire for this country. They never forget what it means to put others before self.

And if you ask a Marine whether it was worth it, they won’t speak of medals or glory. They’ll talk about the warriors they stood shoulder-to-shoulder with.
