It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠
You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and @Pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?
You can pre-order now exclusively at https://t.co/NoneI6kxdH and catch Toy Story 5 in theaters June 19th ☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
VFW National Commander Carol Whitmore’s message to Congress was clear and unwavering: Honor the Contract. “When Americans raise their right hand and volunteer to serve, this nation makes a solemn promise: if they are wounded, become ill or die in service, America will care for them and their families. That promise is not charity. It is the binding contract between service members and the country they defend.”

Just wanted to highlight how ridiculous the 1st inning of Kerry Wood’s 20K masterpiece was:
- 100mph to the umps face to start the game
- What HoFer Craig Biggio called his most embarrassing swing of his career
- Strikes out NL batting leader Derek Bell on possibly the nastiest, definition of fall-off-the-table, curveball you’ve ever seen
- Strikes out HoFer and one of the greatest fastball hitters…on three fastballs.
-Just absolutely disgusting stuff
- Kerry Wood Forever
Marines are different.
There’s something different about a United States Marine. You can see it in the way they stand. You can hear it in the way they speak—clear, direct, with the weight of conviction.
And if you’re fortunate enough to know one, you can feel it in the way they carry themselves. A Marine doesn’t walk away from responsibility.
A Marine doesn’t wait for someone else to step forward. A Marine doesn’t complain when the mission gets hard.
Marines rise, act, and endure. They push through what stops everyone else.
Although All Service Members sacrifice, most people will never fully understand what a Marines sacrifice, its just a bit different.
Time with family that can never be reclaimed. Holidays spent away.
Sleepless nights. Silent battles long after the world has moved on.
Yet even after giving so much, Marines will give more. They give strength to those who are weak. They give hope to families who lie awake praying for safety. They give courage to anyone watching.
A Marine’s contribution doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.
You see it in the father who teaches his children resilience.
In the veteran who still checks on the brothers and sisters he served beside.
In the quiet man at the grocery store who stands a little taller when the anthem plays.
In the woman who can lead any room without raising her voice.
The truth about Marines:
They never stop being Marines.
They never lose their fire for this country. They never forget what it means to put others before self.
And if you ask a Marine whether it was worth it, they won’t speak of medals or glory. They’ll talk about the warriors they stood shoulder-to-shoulder with.
They’ll talk about honor. They’ll talk about love of country. They’ll talk about doing what’s right—even when no one was watching. That is difference between you and meNever Adjust, Stay Marine. 🦅🌎⚓️
