Whew what a job! We've been replacing worn out fencing at the Knowsley Road allotments. It's made the public footpath look much wider too. #macclesfield
It's a lovely day today, ideal for tackling more mucky spots around the town. Here we are at Donagh Close getting rid of a pile of slippery leaves. #macclesfield#cleanandtidy#makeitbetter
A few days into the new year and this graffiti has appeared on Victoria Road. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, it had to go! Happy New Year everyone. #macclesfield#cleanandtidy
Ivy on stonework can look lovely but can also damage the stone. We've cut it back to prevent damage and it's made the steps at Step Hill look so much lighter and cleaner. #macclesfield#cleanandtidy
This planter at Waters Green near the train station looked a mess and didn't give visitors a good first impression of our town. After a trim and a tidy it's looking so much better. #macclesfield#cleanandtidy
The hedge was too broad for the cutting arm to reach so had got out of hand. More half hedge/half tree. We flattened it and pruned the sides so next time a cut is due the whole top will benefit. #macclesfield#allotmentmaintenance#makethingsbetter
After a bit of digging the community noticeboard was installed by the Ranger team at Church of the Resurrection at Upton Priory. It looks great and we look forward to seeing it being used for the benefit of local residents. #macclesfield#keepintouch#community
Another spot the difference.... these bin bags were thrown into the river Bollin near the Silk Road underpass. Makes us wonder what goes through some people's heads that they would think this is ok!!! #macclesfield#cleanandtidy
More colourful autumn planting this week, replacing the finished summer bedding with seasonal colour, guaranteed to lift the spirits as the days shorten. #macclesfield#makemaccbetter
This corner on Wilton Crescent was impassable, forcing pedestrians to step into the road. Glad to say it has been given a much needed trim and a walk along the street doesn't involve having to step out into traffic. #macclesfield#cleanandtidy
This lovely old street at the rear of the Millstone pub, off 108 Steps was full of weeds and looked a little sad. Good to see it now spick and span after some ranger attention. #macclesfield#cleanandtidy
We've been visiting the jungle this week ........ well, not really, but this alleyway from Sherbourne Road to Dawson Road certainly felt like one. #macclesfield#jungleouthere#makeitbetter
