Ivy on stonework can look lovely but can also damage the stone. We've cut it back to prevent damage and it's made the steps at Step Hill look so much lighter and cleaner. #macclesfield #cleanandtidy

This planter at Waters Green near the train station looked a mess and didn't give visitors a good first impression of our town. After a trim and a tidy it's looking so much better. #macclesfield #cleanandtidy

The hedge was too broad for the cutting arm to reach so had got out of hand. More half hedge/half tree. We flattened it and pruned the sides so next time a cut is due the whole top will benefit. #macclesfield #allotmentmaintenance #makethingsbetter

After a bit of digging the community noticeboard was installed by the Ranger team at Church of the Resurrection at Upton Priory. It looks great and we look forward to seeing it being used for the benefit of local residents. #macclesfield #keepintouch #community

This corner on Wilton Crescent was impassable, forcing pedestrians to step into the road. Glad to say it has been given a much needed trim and a walk along the street doesn't involve having to step out into traffic. #macclesfield #cleanandtidy
