I can honestly say it has taken me this long to really look at Kamala again - this is the first time I allowed myself to pause and look at her picture. Up until now, it made my heart hurt so deeply that I would scroll quickly by. (And I haven’t had any news on since November 5).
I’m still so very sad because I keep thinking about what might have been, what SHOULD have been. And I can’t believe hatred and anger won out over love and joy. (Honestly, I don’t believe it did, but that’s another story.)
