i rlly hate thinking “okay let me show less love” “let me not care soo much” i hate that feeling. i should never have to feel that way. my purest form is loving hard and caring hard. that’s just how i am
of course i can do it alone. i’m the daughter who never vent to her parents. the distant one. the woman who heals herself. i always can. i always could. and i always will
i love that feeling when you talk stuff out with someone and you both become aware that neither of you were wrong. you just saw the scenario differently. talking really should be about seeing things from both perspectives, rather than the need to be right.
celibacy becomes very easy for a woman when she realizes that there is literally no man worth being involved with if he isn't helping to improve her life and loving her correctly. she can go months on top of months, it’s really nothing.
this year taught me that you HAVE to stand up, speak up, and protect yourself. you’ll either regret not speaking up or firmly believe that people can mess with you. and then you’ll keep allowing people to mess with you. it’s a cycle. break it.
When you finally realize that someone’s behavior has more to do with their internal struggle than it ever did with you, you learn grace. You also naturally learn detachment as well.
