Derby High School junior volleyball and basketball captain Shea Gray is featured in the SERVPRO Student Athlete Spotlight! Through three basketball seasons, Shea is already the school's all-time career scoring leader with 1,356 points. This past season she averaged 31.9 pts and 13.5 rbs/game, including a 50 point game in January. She maintains a 4.2154 GPA in the classroom while taking part in jazz and concert band, student council, and Unified Sports. It's the Shea Gray Way! Derby High School’s Mock Trial students competed in the Connecticut HS Mock Trial Competition today at Superior Court in Bridgeport. They all did well! Thks Mr. Butterworth & Atty Sussman for teaching students about procedures & presentation of prosecution & defense arguments.

DHS Cross Country at today’s CIAC State Championship Meet held at scenic Wickham Park in Manchester.

Congrats to Sasha and Mac! Sasha finished 6th last week at the NVL Championship - the highest finishing freshman in the league! And Mac placed 21st in that meet after passing an incredible 21 runners over the last 2.1 miles. He earned All-NVL Second Team honors.
