@PatsoCatso Well it should be a Knight, technically (all BT mechs are basically crap knights). But I will so borrow this. There need to be more than 3 Knight patterns anway.
Also yes their designer liked Macross as much as 40Ks.
@PatsoCatso It does need battlements and a drawbridge ramp in the back, with a portcullis, generous space to move inside with halberds and gambeson, an ornamental tax office, and irregular-shaped burgage plots.
Maybe with another update it will become a true Manorlord-pattern Malcador.
@NEnvtuber@hinckley380@PatsoCatso Anything else actually is tech heresy and will get angry martians running after it with electro-pichforks and plasma-torches.
@hinckley380@PatsoCatso No, both have no direct predecessors and are blueprints first given out by an AI when asked a questioon like "our colony is attacked by giant man-eating spiders, help!"
10.000 years later, the Martians believe those blueprints are of divine origin and people just run with that.
@heybratan@BitsHammer Yes, because there are different considerations between a wargame (which needs all factions to have roughly equivalent units) and heroic fantasy fiction (which needs heroes slaying mooks by the thousands). Similarly for videogames, where the heroic rules apply, but for the PC.
@BitsHammer Kaledon hunters that just endlessly fight each other. I wonder of they also have Culchie Bog-trotters (ratlings famous for always being drunk and stealing) and the Underground Savages of Taff-World.
@BitsHammer GW hasn't historically cared much about mainstream culture. They were happy in their niche before. Why stop now? This sums up as "GW does as they have always done", and if isn't that what these people wanted, who had to bring politics into the hobby now?
