@redviking_73@GunloverClub1 At that range moa is finer than mils. .1 mil is like .3 of an moa. It really doesn't matter, just use the system you are most used to.
@chapman_brody@fangpenlin@GunloverClub1 I'm going to guess it wasn't his first shot. Not with a 9mph wind. Especially because of the flight time of the round. Either that or he got very lucky. I have had a few first round impacts at 1760 before, but it's basically luck, normally 2 shot minimum. (Fence post adds to it)
@GarethCole321@JHAM281@thesheetztweetz They way it sounded was they were going to use foam as couches for the landing. And put them on the cargo pallet. Dragon doesn't have the capability to do transfers without the docking adapter. So it would make sense that they are talking about them coming back to earth.
@JHAM281@thesheetztweetz They addressed this too. Currently the have the capability to bring back 7 on crew 8. They started planning for this contingency when the Soyuz coolant leak happened.
@RGregoryClark@DJSnM The second stage doesn't do a relight on a dragon flight. It's a completely different flight profile. This happened during the circulation burn, dragon does its own burns for that, they wouldn't do an abort from orbit. At most they would have to deorbit after a orbit or two
@DJSnM@MattSMackenzie I was lucky. I did a lot of my instrument in actual. Foggles make me sick from the pressure on my head. I spent the first 20 hours having my cfi fly back to the airport. It kinda sucked. Then I switches hoods. I did my checkride in IMC
@gunsmoke317@MGracieXXX@GunloverClub1 Only MG's made in the USA (or form 1) are fully transferable between 1968 (when the GCA was passed) and 1983. That's what a pre-dealer sample is. Most foreign guns on the registry were converted.
The rules are a mess.
