If you’re not getting minutes early in the season, it’s not the end of the world but it is telling on how much your coach trust you right now.

Coaches are trying to win. They’re putting the players on the field they believe give them the best chance to win today.

Right now they believe you’re not one of their best options to help them win.

Their evaluation on your right now:

Your training
Your fitness
Your decision-making
Your consistency
Your attitude
Your response to adversity

And yes, they’re asking themselves:

“Can I trust this player when the game matters?”

Complaining about playing time won’t change their answer.

Your job is to make it impossible for them to keep you off the field.
