@matoxley Rossi won on the 500s, 990s, 800s and then the 1000s. If Marc Marquez wins on the Pirelli’s he’ll have won on them, the Bridgestones and the Michelins. What would be a greater achievement?
@matoxley do you think if Alex wanted to win he could have backed Marc up since he could have known he did that for the tyre pressure and then let Pecco battle Marc and Alex hit the turbo button?
@matoxley just listened to the pod. Could/Should Yamaha and Honda use the test with the new front to get a head start and makeup some time on the competition since they’re nowhere this year?
@OfficialBSB@CadwellPark we are staying in the camp site in the back of my VW T4 van that has 330,000 miles on it. I did splash out for luxuriously thick foam for the bed tho….
@OfficialBSB can you give a shout out to Andy and Andrea who are on their mini-moon this weekend after getting married in Glasgow on Wednesday @CadwellPark
@matoxley I'm surprised nobody sacrificed going straight into Q2 for better set-up. That seems like a potential opportunity. If you dont worry about going straight into Q2 you can get the bike working in the earlier practices, have a faster setup which leads to the fastest bike in Q1?
@matoxley “Shifting your weight into the corner you reduce the centrifugal force”
Do you think by being lower and more to the inside it creates more bending in the chassis to help steer it round the corner? There seems to be a lot of talk of increasing lateral flex.
@MichaelLaverty hey Michael, I’m just about to start my MEng in Mechanical Engineering. There are lots of F1 jobs for Mechanical Engineers. But do you know where I’d find similar jobs like that but for motorcycle racing like MotoGP?
