There is a meeting in Coach Devenport’s room at 8:00 a.m. for all boys interested in trying out for basketball. Practice starts Monday immediately after school in the high school gym.

Varsity improved to 2-1 on the season with a road win at Moberly, 64-53. Varsity plus Centralia at the Centralia Tournament on Tuesday at 6:00. JV is in action at home Monday and Tuesday nights v Palmyra and Chillicothe.

Varsity boys lost their home opener to Salisbury 66-67. Next the varsity will be traveling to Moberly on Thursday night to battle the Spartans.

Boys basketball started the season off on the right note with jv defeating Salisbury 64-42 on Monday. Varsity boys traveled to Cameron and came out victorious 61-45. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

The season is upon us! The first games of the season are this week: JV boys play at home v. Salisbury jv and Varsity Boys travel to Cameron in Tuesday night to battle the Dragons. Both games start after the girls’ games, which begin at 6:00. Come on out and support your Tigers!

Come out and support the Macon Tigers Wednesday, November 20 @ meet the Tigers night starting @ 6:00 pm in the MHS gym. Love scrimmage, pie/cookie, and silent auction during the event.

Basketball conditioning for those not playing football starts Monday, Oct. 14 from 3:30-4:30. Conditioning will be every day Monday—Thursday until tryouts/practice starts on November 4th. All participants must have a current physical turned in to the school.
