We are in the thick of the July evaluation and playing period. Being a competitor in each game is required.

Some say it’s a skill. Then practice playing with intensity for longer stretches. The better players (regardless of talent) compete against themselves on each possession and push others to do so.

It’s an every practice and every game mentality that wins out. Not a feel like approach.

When you give great effort you will produce when your skill does not show up. You don’t have to win every game-but you do have to compete to be a winner.

Thank you so much @MurryBartow and Coach Finley for giving me the opportunity to come showcase my skills and gain knowledge, not just about basketball but the offcourt things that come with it. I’d also like to thank them for blessing us with all the supplies we needed at camp!
