A large-scale NSCLC dataset in JTO, a few grounded reminders:

🔹 Scale does not just expand data — it sharpens judgment.

Key observations:
• ~35% of patients harbor actionable genomic alterations
• ~46% in adenocarcinoma, yet present across all histologies
• ~6.5% even in squamous tumors — clinically non-negligible
• ~45% show high TMB (≥10 mut/Mb)
• ~80% of driver-positive tumors exhibit low TMB

Implications:
• Molecular profiling should be routine, not conditional
• Histology alone is an incomplete proxy for biology
• “Low frequency” ≠ “low relevance”

Takeaway: Consistency in testing may matter more than selectivity in assumptions.
