For the last few months, I’ve kept somewhere between 3 and 9 VeeFriends cards on my desk to remind me of things. I figured I’d start sharing what’s there and why.

There are a few 2025 and 2026 cards where I like how the character looks more than TCG, but not many.

Elf, for instance, isn't my favorite in 2026. This one is so great. 2025 is a good too.

Accountable Ant is on the way. Two to go!

I’m absolutely blown away by how many people reached out today, including people willing to sell a card to help me finish my set.

I wasn’t planning on being able buy all three right now, so I’m taking my time. Just connecting with people who might be willing to sell down the road has been awesome.

Most of my time on Twitter/X - class of 2009! - has been spent connecting with people in a business context. I’m grateful for those relationships and the chance to serve them, and, it’s been really fun to meet some new people and get to know this community today.

I wore my Gratitude Gorilla shirt today with my Focused Falcon hoodie over it. With all the conversations here, I wasn’t quite as focused as I’d planned 😂 But I’m absolutely grateful 🙏 🦍

Hello!

Wow - what a day here in @veefriends world. I posted that I needed 3 cards to complete my series 2 set. Might not be able to afford all of them now, but still nice to connect with people.

Here’s the lineup for today.

- Fairy for my partner, who is Resilient and will get through these tough weeks ahead. I’m her biggest 5555 Fan!

- Grateful to be alive and have meaningful work, but needed to be more focused than I was (though I was locked in for the hard mid-day call). Day isn’t over.

- Clown is going to be more a regular. Listened to this great Jim Rhon talk this morning walking the dog and he talked about competitors and how you need to be honest that you’ll have some in business.

@StuffKeithBuys Price things right near the edge of what people think they can afford. They need to pause.

And write a useful weekly email - not a digest, a email with real value that they can't get anywhere else - for years (for some businesses 2-3 times a week may be better).

The email prompt when the auction was running down is impressive - more in depth vibe coding. And I'm a sucker for animation and a bit of "bells and whistles" - it's a fun site to explore.
