Imma say something and most of you won’t like it: goddayum it feels so good seeing trenches and dumb fucking memes rot to 0 and liquidity and attention going back to things actually being built.

Seeing people at least try.

Beyond the liud screeches of “daily runner” this space has never been healtier in terms of potential for mass adoption, favourable legislations across the board, and interesting new verticals being explored. We have AI agents experimenting past their “just a chatbot” cycle and most didn’t even notice. We’ll have free stablecoin transfers that will challenge tradfi giants like Visa and Mastercard. We have nation states putting 20% of their RWA’s on chain. The most powerful entities on earth topblasting corn every day. We have digital arts sales in the millions every week, and a proliferation of new collections and artist wich hasn’t been as bountiful since 2021. And yes, the very very few actual “culture” coins will do just fine as well, cause a lil gambling and dumb fun never hurt no one, I love it actually.

Look alive people, it’s a bull run.

L2s can continue to fight over preconf/miniblock latency - after 10ms, we'll see 1ms, then 100us, and so on (I wasn't kidding when I said L2s should sell datacenter space)

@monad_xyz is intended to be a globally-distributed L1 which will always be constrained by the laws of physics

there are some other L1s which actually have worse technical implementations but perform better because the majority of stake is concentrated in a region. Monad isn't intended to compete with that either

many of these demos you see are disingenuous - running one tx, waiting for finality, then running another tx, etc

that's not how computer games are actually implemented - latency is hidden in games by pipelining actions

if properly designed, a game can perform nearly the same for the user with 10ms latency or 100ms latency - the same techniques can and should be applied here as well

at @category_xyz we'll focus on building things like L1 preconfs, MCP, etc that bring the best performance possible for a global decentralized network
