@DerCheapi If you think about it also almost all the jews except in the americas became refugees in a decade and had to leave their homes (and they were the lucky one who werent murdered), all moved on
At least 80 Hezbollah militiamen from the town of Taybeh in south Lebanon were killed in this war (since early March 2026).
Israeli forces occupied and largely destroyed Taybeh, alongside dozens of other Shia villages and towns of south Lebanon.
They join "several thousands" of Hezbollah militants killed in the war, according to 2 Hezbollah officials speaking to Reuters in early May 2026. Prior to starting the current war, Hezbollah also launched a war on Israel on October 8, 2023, and intervened in the Syrian Civil War in support of the Assad regime, losing thousands more fighters in the service of the Iranian regime. As Ghalibaf declared recently, the Lebanese who died in this war did so "for Islamic Iran."
The Shia community of southern Lebanon (Jabel Amel) produced luminary thinkers, writers, poets and artists, despite the impoverishment and marginalization (and Ottoman-era massacres) of the area. During centuries when literacy, riches and intellectual work were highly concentrated in cities, rural Jabel Amel was writing and producing knowledge. I hope it will rise again from this tragedy.

56 Hezbollah fatalities mourned on Lebanese social media over the past few days.
This sample includes 8 commanders, ranging from field leaders to the head of Nasr Unit (equal to an army's General).
As is often the case, many fought in #Syria on behalf of Assad.
