The first statement by the Russian participants of the Platform at PACE - one that is personally extremely important to me - is dedicated to Ukraine.

I initiated this statement because I believe that, as a political body, we must first and foremost acknowledge the responsibility of Russia and of Russians.

We speak about the necessity of supporting Ukraine, including military support. Pacifism in 2026 is a beautiful position, but a hypocritical one, because it is bought with someone else’s blood.

It is unacceptable to equate the parties to the conflict: Russia is the aggressor, and Ukraine is acting in self-defense.

The end of the war must be accompanied by the immediate return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.

Peace will be sustainable only if Russia is held accountable for the crimes it has committed.

We support the establishment of a Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, under the auspices of the Council of Europe, and are ready to contribute to the investigation.

Frozen assets of the Russian state must be used to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and to support its reconstruction.

what for others are oscars and gold lions, for me are criminal cases from putin's Russia. I just got indicted in a brand new criminal case - violating the "foreign agent" law and placed on yet another Russia's wanted list.

criminal cases appear when i do something sensitive for the Kremlin. in 2012, it was calling out putin's and the Patriarch's bs, after which the Cathedral of Christ the Savior was renamed the Pussy Riot Church. in 2023, it was Putin's Ashes exhibited at the world's top gallery.

in 2026, what is it? the fact that the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale is already nicknamed the "Pussy Riot Pavilion"? our recruitment campaign for Russians to join the Ukrainian military? Pussy Riot occupying Ubiquiti's hq? official Russia being kicked out of The Council of Europe, and us - foreign agents, traitors, wh**es - speaking from its tribune instead?

p.s. it's sweet to look at putin's clerks announcing your indictment while petting your dog. for thousands of Ukrainians and Russians kept in putin's GULAG atm the reality is much grimer.
