She took her UIL Ready Write Region win to the UIL State Competition and made MAC history. Summer Farrens, the first to medal at the State level in RW!! Only 6 of 12 can medal. She placed 4th!! 🎉

2011 Mac grad, Matthew Cardone, of San Antonio FC, presented Ash with a team jersey, informing him that he will soon see Ash as a special guest of the team on game day. Asher smiled so much, forgetting for just a while, about his battle with childhood cancer.

Thanks to two extraordinary ex-Mac students, eight-year-old Asher Cochran, from Wetmore Elementary, became one happy boy. 2013 Mac graduate Dante Dipasquale created a one-of-a-kind Avenger poster, placing the likeness of Ash and his MacTEACH tutor Kate Tuttle, as superheroes. 1/2
