We thought that GenAI would take jobs away from artists and writers. Turns out that is not exactly happening.
Yet there is another threat, less obvious, but very real, linked to something deeply human - the temptation to delegate the struggle

✅ Macula MCP is live.
And no, we didn’t build it to follow the hype.
We built it because when it comes to images, video, and other creative work, AI agents still do the same thing: 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.
-If you build with AI, that’s a legal and ethical headache. - If you create & publish original content – that’s your work being pulled into models without context or consent.
📌 Macula MCP allows AI agents to directly 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲. No scraping, no guesswork.
Efficiency’s ideal subject is no longer us, but more algorithms...
Can we defend and maintain our role, not just as input, but as authors of original creation and thought? Or will we let the unpredictable spark of our existence be managed out in pursuit of efficiency?

Or why ´Context for Content´ matters now more than ever and metadata might just become the hottest thing

Here is my first-ever TV appearance for SBTV.
We talked about food, my travels, and why I left Croatia. Before the interview, I made my guests a feast using one of the best #SriLankan recipes.

We're launching UniLink on @ProductHunt today!
Their algorithms got mighty weird, we're not shown on the list & votes/comments coming from those with a direct link apparently do not count🫠
😎But hey, you still can try Unilink anyways🤘 https://t.co/6nqnRemAUm

@Vectravision You can choose the preferred option when publishing
(in accordance with the IPTC metadata standard).
Please see more on this in our docs: https://t.co/asfZsTcmf3
Macula now automatically shields your images from AI training and data mining, disallowing any #DataScraping by default.
We use both market standards to signal the opt-out in a machine-readable form:
- IPTC Metadata Standard for AI/ML training and data mining.
- Robot.txt
@Vectravision no, unless you specifically choose the option that prohibits ALL data mining.
The alternative options include:
- Prohibited only for Generative AI/ML training
- Prohibited except for search engine indexing
You can allow certain usages when sharing if you choose to.
And the robot.txt ‘keep out’ sign is automatically added to anything you share with #Unilink to deter unwanted bots).
