If your buildings are starting to feel a little too boxy, there’s a simple way to fix that.

Start with any square or rectangular floor plan. Then, left-click and hold to grab one of the corner pins.

To create round shapes, drag the pin inward toward the center to create a convex curve, or outward to create a concave edge.

For diagonal cuts, left-click, hold, and drag the pin outward to the edge of the floorplan, then slide it along that edge until you get the angle you want.

By combining these techniques, you can break free from rigid layouts and finally design buildings or rooms in almost any shape you can imagine.

And once you start experimenting with these tools, you’ll never want to only use boxy rooms again!
