Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr. slammed Chinese Ambassador Jing Quan on Thursday, accusing him of deliberately provoking Philippine authorities, gaslighting the public, and crossing diplomatic lines.
HOT TAKE
Perfect decision for the prosecution to hire Atty. Lorna Kapunan, Nadine Lustre's private lawyer in her battle with Viva.
With her 48 years of lawyering experience, VP Sara Duterte will clearly be impeached.
There is no chance for VP Sara to escape the hands of Atty. Kapunan, the Punong Hurado of Face to Face program in TV5.
Do you agree?

Robin Padilla says matatalo tayo pag lumaban. So ano’ng solusyon mo?

SUSPENDED FORTHWITH!
Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian says the Senate will immediately enforce the 90-day suspensions of Senators Rodante Marcoleta and Jinggoy Estrada once the Sandiganbayan's orders arrive.
Both lawmakers face separate plunder cases involving millions of pesos. Their suspensions could also prevent them from serving as senator-judges in Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial.

'BANTAYAN N'YO AKO; MAG-DEMAND KAYO NG ACCOUNTABILITY SA AKIN'
Senatorial aspirant Cielo Magno assured the public that she would not exploit her academic credentials and public service experience for personal gain as a politician.
"Sa akin kasi, ‘yung thinking ko, nabigyan ako ng opportunity to be a PhD and an economist. For me, ‘yung mission ko is gawing suporta ’yung kakayahan ko bilang ekonomista. So, if I'm going to be corrupt, Hindi ko alam kung paano mangyayari ‘yun," she said in an exclusive interview with The Philippine STAR.
Magno served as Finance undersecretary for fiscal policy and monitoring group from 2022 to 2023. She earned a PhD in Law and Public Policy at Northeastern University and was an associate professor at the University of the Philippines' School of Economics prior to announcing her Senate bid.

“The Supreme Court of the Philippines unanimously ordered Congress on September 16, 2026, to enact an ANTI-POLITICAL DYNASTY law, ruling that 39 years of legislative inaction under Article II, Section 26 of the 1987 Constitution constitutes a ‘grave abuse of discretion’”
“We have Alan Peter Cayetano, Robin Padilla. How does it look to the international community na wala tayong united stand?”
Una, your statements proved only one thing: kung bakit you were not able to at least be the National Security Adviser kahit one year man lang.
Pangalawa, i can still remember why you asked me bakit kita tinatanong (“Why me?”) about our deployment in the WPS to respond to China’s presence that i have to remind you that you were the chairperson of NTF-WPS during that time.
Pangatlo, im wondering bakit mo ako bina-badmouth ngayon.
Anyone who was part of the NTFWPS dyirng her time as NSA would definitely state that she never did anything to stand up for our rights in the WPS. We need to remember that the transparency initiative in the WPS only started when she was replaced and when Gen Eduardo Año took over.
