when Cheesecake Factory was outside he would sit politely and stare at people, waiting for them to notice him but was ignored

now he follows me around the rescue and does the same thing which means I must stop and pet him every time so he knows he'll never be ignored again

I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask others for help like this.

I’ve always tried to push through hard moments quietly and figure things out on my own, but this past week changed everything. On Cinco de Mayo, I experienced the most unbearable pain of my life and ended up in the ER. After hours of tests and scans, I found out I have an 8mm kidney stone that now requires urgent surgery.

Physically, emotionally, and financially, this has been overwhelming and honestly scary. Asking for help is not easy for me, but right now I truly need it.
