It takes a village to produce research… people in admin, finance, HR, ethics, cleaners, building maintenance staff and many others. Last week @BristolTARG put on an event to recognise and thank these amazing @BristolUni people for their contribution to the work we do.
We are looking for a full-time research administrator! Come and join a friendly and inclusive team and help support our research activity... https://t.co/1T2NkzdDjO
It was a real privilege (and quite emotional, after many years of discussing these issues) to have this opportunity, but I was there on behalf of many people - inc. @ukrepro Local Network Leads, Institutional Leads and other supporters... Thank you all! https://t.co/RLuOyid7Vn
@Clive_Bates@MarcusMunafo@BristolUni@HiddenRef Yes, we acknowledge this. Smokers may not be motivated to try unflavoured products and initiate use, and flavours may play a role in adherence to e-cigarette use for smoking reduction and cessation. Further areas to test.
@CDVQ4@Jasmine_Khouja @TinaBrink12 @MarcusMunafo@BristolTARG@AngelaAttwood Our findings didn't support our hypothesis (flavours might have disrupted conditioned associations between smoking cues (e.g., tobacco smell/taste) and the rewarding properties of nicotine, for example by creating new flavour associations). First study only, more work needed.
