@5Solas That copy was printed for people to read. It could have gone through so many hands and across so many eyes. Now it just compromises the integrity of the concrete.
However, I won't condemn they guy too much, he may have done this with belief in God to use it in a supernatural way
@darwintojesus We have to be really considerate. They (and we) live in a world where.nobody really cares about anyone outside themselves. It is mind-boggling to them the idea that we want them to be saved just for them, not us.
@JenResistedAGN You mean the one where God gave literally everyone the opportunity to board an ark but they almost all ridiculed and rejected the offer? And you mean the one where He gave the Egyptian leader 10 opportunities to stop enslavement of people but he kept lying and continuing it?
@Cantona_Collars You're completely correct but any football person knows this and enjoys it for this. We watch purely to understand where we are in our development given our circumstances.
@BladeoftheS This is an outright lie! Jesus Christ is mentioned in numerous historical documents outside of biblical scripture. Josephus, Tacitus, etc.
Wrong about executions, wrong about crucifixions... where do you get your confidence to be so wrong?!
@MikeWingerii This guy. Used to really be proud of this brother in Christ but he just exposes himself as a 'Republican First'. This modern style of capitalism has ruined the entire west because of greed but they will swear by it instead of Christ-like solutions because they want the status-quo
@DadiLahdi@LoLjakkon@BladeoftheS That's not what happened. The books in the bible were already in circulation within the churches before it was canonised. The ones that weren't, weren't. A few books were never in circulation, had factually incorrect info, were inconsistent & were forgeries - they were never in.
@LoLjakkon@BladeoftheS So because the world is going to end, they told a lie to get them persecuted and killed? If the world was going to end, surely the truth would be what you would stand on.
Regarding Jesus' humble beginnings, I don't understand the argument. He also never said being rich was evil.
@LoLjakkon@BladeoftheS And" inconsistency", its actually amazing how consistent it is! It was written by numerous authors over millenia because it is a collection of books!
Any evidence of anyone at the time saying "I know Jesus and he couldn't do any of those things"? Should be common, right?
@Maximumatheist Similarities in various cultures stories of a worldwide flood doesn't make it plagiarism. It might make it partial corroboration, correction or just coincidence. Seems atheists too should actually read and compare
