@KLeeAshton @randgmom@rdpiazza Interesting because covering a full 12-14 weeks if your doctor clears you at 6 or 8 is not how insurance works... I was granted 8 weeks for a c-section. Dr cleared me at 7 weeks and I had to go back to work. STD is insurance, not a guaranteed amt of time off.
@KLeeAshton @randgmom@rdpiazza Correction: short term disability covers your MEDICAL RECOVERY from birth. It does not cover your entire maternity leave. It covers you until your doctor medically clears you to return to normal activity.
it’s never gonna not be wild to me that actual doctors with actual degrees where they spent significant portions of their lives studying infectious diseases can give warnings about covid & people who are not actual doctors can hear them & be like “well here’s why you’re wrong…”
ERCOT: our infrastructure was simply not designed for temperatures this cold
also ERCOT: our infrastructure was simply not designed for temperatures this hot
@AmberSevart Ours took the opportunity of us all being home to charge us petty af fees for things like “leaving a pet on the patio while you’re inside ($150)”, raised our rent, etc..... THEN used that money to upgrade everything as if everything is normal 👀
@ramcesluna For our last big event pre covid an alumni on the board decided I should create all new marketing material that included dates/times for athletics events to “draw alumni in all weekend”
@AmberSevart Right 😂 many have posted ab it like “some decided to take their masks off and dance and some didn’t which we totally respected” and I’m like 👀👀👀🤦♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ what???!!!
@AmberSevart I see a lot of planners on wedding pages talking about how “surprisingly normal” weddings have been and I’m like 👀👀 Thanks but I’ll go with a surprisingly abnormal wedding where I encourage ppl to stay home/not travel lmao
As lockdowns lift, employees are clashing over different views of the pandemic. Some say their colleagues aren’t taking it seriously; others say their co-workers are going too far to stay safe. https://t.co/9y9dRBAZD7
The term “cancel culture” comes from entitlement - as though the person complaining has the right to a large, captive audience,& one is a victim if people choose to tune them out.
Odds are you’re not actually cancelled, you’re just being challenged, held accountable, or unliked.
I am a 27 year old woman who has dragged friends and my partner to these concerts to scream at the stage with the rest of the 13-16 year old crowd(fans have gotten older thankfully lol) My friends and Andrew would stand in the back w the other parents.
