“In one of the most astonishing political transformations in the history of democracy,” Hitler destroyed “a constitutional republic through constitutional means,” writes Timothy W. Ryback. Read about how Hitler overcame democracy in just 53 days: https://t.co/tIdo3fHDHO
Can someone let the AP know that violating court orders is not a sign of "executive power. " It is a sign of contempt, lawlessness and authoritarianism.
Shame, they have none. The sense of entitlement. The level of GREED this family displayed in the last year is at unprecedented levels. Conflict of interest contracts unashamedly are being given, not awarded. Cash flow is their pearl & access is the oyster https://t.co/B3Qr1il50h
The midterm demolition is on the way and Trump is feeling the pressure. His rants are a special kind of unhinged randomness.
When Trump talks about rigged and stolen elections then says "terminate the filibuster" and pass the racist act, you can see his intention is election rigging.
@DanielleCandela@HQNewsNow@2cannan1 The article still supports what I'm saying. You're missing the forest for the trees. I'm trying to help you understand the differences in LEGALALITY.
Technically, T DID rape EJean. But, he wasn't tried in a criminal court, therefore can't be adjudicated as a criminal defender.
@DanielleCandela@HQNewsNow@2cannan1 I'm responding in reverse order. It can be slanderous to say a person's a rapist if they have not been adjudicated (determined) by a CRIMINAL, not civil court. Technically, yes, Trump raped her but due to state statute for timing & body part used, trial proceeded as CIVIL suit.
@DanielleCandela@HQNewsNow@2cannan1 This one also says exactly what I'm trying to explain. I know where you're coming from and feel the same way you do. As a former state felony-only agent (like probation &parole but no misdemeanors), what I'm stressing is what was proven under NY law as civil, not criminal trial.
@DanielleCandela@HQNewsNow@2cannan1 I understand what you're trying to prove, but the case was a civil suit, not a criminal trial. A person cannot be adjudicated a criminal in a civil trial. That's what you're not understanding and why I maintain T not adjudicated rapist. Then, he would've faced prison, not $ fine.
@DanielleCandela@HQNewsNow@2cannan1 No, because that would've required the trial be a criminal trial, and not a civil lawsuit. Had it been a criminal trial, there would've been a prosecutor and the burden of proof "beyond a reasonable doubt." E Jean sued him. Burden of proof was "preponderance of evidence," 51>49%
Trump on Russia: Somebody told me the other day, they beat Hitler, they beat Napoleon. That's what they do. @Acyn (2024)
Fact-check: Moscow burned after Russia withdrew in 1812, and the USSR backed Nazi Germany until the Nazis invaded them in 1941.
@56Peanuts@Muenzplatz@Suzierizzo1 There's plenty of evidence. That's not the problem. The problem is that people like you refuse to examine the clown's history.
@FaceTheNation@margbrennan Poor Kevin doesn't know the definition of "war," per his confession moments ago.
Shall we make this a 'gotcha' just like when Republicans accused the Dems of not knowing the definition of a "woman." You see how that works?
Check out Bale Dalton, the guy we need to replace war profiteer Cory Mills, as FL-07 representative. Cory's constituents are in last place behind his war weapons investment enterprise. Big No No.
