If a traumatized person knew how to tell you what they’re feeling, they would. If they knew how to explain their fears, they would. If they knew how to ask for what they need (or what those needs are) they would. This is where patience leads to peace & being held leads to healing
If you show frustration or anger through: sighing, giving the silent treatment, or making sarcastic comments—this is a passive aggressive communication style.
You might say “I’m fine” when asked if you’re upset.
