@nntaleb Dual existed in old Slavic language (aka old Bulgarian language) for conjugated masculine nouns in nominative and accusative. In modern day Bulgarian there are evolved forms for certain nouns re: body parts. It is not a surprise, it exists in other languages as well.

Spartacus is from the tribe called Medi. A Tracian tribe, populated Southwest of modern day Bulgaria (in Sandanski city, there is nice monument). I would definitely recommend to visit an explore the area, incl. mountain Pirin.

@nntaleb This looks like the coloring book of my 2 year old niece. Africa is same color as the central Balkans....the most trafficed crossroad of the last few millennia. I couldn't find any solid research backing this. the sample used is probably one individual.
