@sophiegrenham Not brave really, just making a point, we pay enough, so should get the service. The manager in my local Tesco hates me! I always look for a till to be opened by a person if the queue is more than 3 people, as that was their policy when I worked there!

@sophiegrenham I flatly refuse to use self-service checkouts. If I'm directed to one, my answer is always "No thanks, I don't work here." If they don't have a person serving, I leave what I was going to purchase & go elsewhere.

@sophiegrenham When my kids were small & we went to resturants, I always brought some activity books & quiet games they could play with. If they got too restless, I'd take them outside for a while. If they misbehaved, I'd remove them to the car.

@HelenORahilly I'm on it also for high blood sugar. I find that after taking it, upping my carb intake for a day or 2 helps keep stomach settled. Had one very bad episode of vomiting, I'm heading into month 5 & am 10kg down & holding at that.

I've just spent a lovely evening with my 2 kids, my daughter from another mother, her parents, partner & child, the only one missing is my OH who passed in 2020. Cherish the moments people, for tomorrow isn't given.

@jameshendicott @RushTourism I notice them more in spring and autumn, they seem to like to scan the fields as light fades. If you hear the crows kicking up a racket look up & you might see them gliding very high up.
