people are making jokes and treating it like a public spectacle but i’m genuinely terrified for her. karen carpenter died of anorexia at ariana’s current age, while less visibly malnourished too. i hope someone in her life puts their foot down and that she recovers
One thing about Cassie is that she’s the complete opposite of Lexi emotionally. This scene where Lexi is venting to her is actually really interesting because it quietly shows Cassie’s natural ability to listen to people no matter what she herself is going through internally.
Even with all the chaos, pain, and emotional destruction happening in Cassie’s own life, she still stays calm, collected, and emotionally present for Lexi in this moment. Lexi keeps venting about Rue, her guilt, and everything weighing on her mentally, and Cassie never judges her, interrupts her, or makes the conversation about herself. She simply listens because she recognizes that Lexi is clearly struggling emotionally.
What makes the scene even sadder to me is that Cassie constantly puts other people’s emotions before her own problems, even when her own life is completely falling apart. And honestly, I don’t think Lexi would’ve done the same thing for Cassie if the roles were reversed. That’s one of the biggest differences between them as sisters. #euphoria
