Her words, not a meme: she grew up under a dictatorship and said she did not even remember witnessing anything like troops in American streets and a presidential military parade. In the same breath she said a “beacon of hope” was being “turned into one of the worst countries,” with no regard for constitutional rights.

That is the sitting Member from Minnesota’s 5th District talking about the United States.

She was born in Mogadishu. Family fled the civil war. Four years in a Kenyan camp. Arrived here in 1995. Naturalized in 2000. The United States handed her the golden ticket she now uses as a platform to lecture the country that rescued her.

The paper trail is not a rumor mill. It is public record.

Religious marriage to Ahmed Hirsi in 2002. Legal marriage to British citizen Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009. Reunited with Hirsi and had another child while still legally married to Elmi. Then the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board found she filed joint tax returns with Hirsi in 2014 and 2015 — years she was still legally married to another man. Campaign money paid an accounting firm to “correct” the filings. She was ordered to reimburse the committee and pay a civil penalty.

The “married her brother” charge has circulated since 2016. Fact-checkers say no court has proven it. Omar calls it a lie. Judicial Watch still filed an ethics complaint alleging immigration, marriage, tax, and student-loan fraud. Vice President Vance has said the Justice Department is looking at whether immigration fraud occurred. That is where it sits: alleged, denied, now under review.

Separately, Feeding Our Future and other Minnesota welfare schemes exploded in her backyard. Convicted fraudsters had donated to her campaigns. Some money was later redirected after the charges dropped. She was not charged. The programs she championed were looted for hundreds of millions.

Add the 2024 Somali-language speech where she told a Minneapolis crowd she was in Congress to protect Somalia’s interests from inside the U.S. system. Different translations fight over the exact wording. The loyalty question did not go away.

So the clip is not just another Squad tantrum. It is a refugee-turned-congresswoman looking at the flag that saved her and calling the place one of the worst countries on the planet — while the documented tax mess, the marriage timeline, the donor-fraud orbit, and an open DOJ look sit unanswered.

Americans who never got a refugee slot, never sat in that chair, and never filed joint returns with the wrong husband are supposed to take the lecture.

Oath of office is to the Constitution of the United States. Not to Mogadishu. Not to a press hit on a parade.

If the files are clean, release them. If they are not, she does not belong in that seat.

California Assemblyman Carl DeMaio is preparing a lawsuit against a new law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, claiming it unconstitutionally stops citizen journalists from exposing taxpayer fraud.

Opponents have dubbed the measure the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" — after the viral independent investigator — arguing it targets online watchdogs.

Been a few days now and just wanted to say thank you to the thousands of people who came out, showed up, kept the peace and took a stand against California’s new law known as the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” (AB 2624). There is absolutely no need for this law and has made a protected class for “immigration support service providers”.

Politicians have leared that by using “immigration support service providers” they can funnel millions and billions of your tax dollars to nonprofits, NGOs, learing centers and fake healthcare providers and then use that money to push their crazy agendas across the country. Now that it’s been exposed they need new laws to protect the fraud.
