🇧🇫In less that 4 years in power, Captain Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso has got his people to a position of Rice Food security, where he is able to ban the importation of Rice entirely.

He is now actively working on a ban on importation of dairy products.

He has set up 24hrs emergency medical service for citizens, and not only that, in his last health budget, he allocated additional fund to address influx of Africans seeking cheaper medical treatment like kidney and cancer in Burkina Faso.

That is a true and forward looking leader. They have little but ensuring everyone benefits from it.

We don’t see Burkinabes attacking Africans at their clinics or shooting them in their shops, or immolating them in the streets.

🇧🇫 BURKINA FASO TO DRASTICALLY REDUCE PRISONS.

A bold shift is unfolding.

Burkina Faso is moving toward **fewer prisons nationwide**, keeping only high-risk offenders, murderers and serious criminals behind bars.

For petty crimes, prison sentences are banned.
PETTY OFFENDERS WILL BE TURNED INTO FARMERS TO FEED THE STATE.

The country is looking at fewer prisons across the country (less than 5).

This raises a bigger question across Africa:

🚨🇬🇭 BREAKING: GHANA JUST REJECTED A US HEALTH DEAL. The Americans demanded sensitive health data. Ghana said no. Not because they are ungrateful. Because they are not stupid.

This is not just a deal. This is a line in the sand. Zimbabwe walked away. Kenya's court blocked their deal. Zambia is asking questions. Africa is learning that US aid is not a gift. It is a transaction. And the price is sovereignty.

🇨🇳 BREAKING: CHINA OPENS ITS MARKET TO ALL OF AFRICA. ESWATINI LEFT OUT. THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR.

Starting May 1, 2026, China will grant 100% tariff-free access to all 53 African countries that have diplomatic ties with Beijing.

That means African exports from Nigeria to Kenya, South Africa to Senegal, can enter China's massive market without paying a single dollar in tariffs.

Eswatini is excluded. The only African nation that still recognizes Taiwan.

China's message: Choose Beijing or lose the market.

Why this matters for Africa:

· African farmers, manufacturers, and exporters gain direct access to the world's second largest economy
· No tariffs means higher profits for African businesses
· It rewards countries that respect the One China policy
· It punishes the last African holdout still aligned with Taiwan

Compare this to Western trade deals full of conditions, environmental standards, labor clauses, and hidden strings. China says: diplomatic recognition. That is it. Tariffs gone.

The West demands you change your laws. China demands you recognize its map.

Africa now has a choice. Two systems. Two markets. One offers conditions. One offers access.

Eswatini will feel the pressure immediately. Others will watch and learn.

The global trade map just shifted. Again.
