Just a guy moving through life one day at a time, alt of @ASStronomo. PFP and banner by @Owlboykai. Heads up, might post/like NSFW stuff here so be advised
I’m not too sure what to say here but uh, guess I’ll make a thread containing all my OCs under this. Got too much lore and stuff to put it all down so I’ll try and keep it all as short and concise as possible.
@Invincible_Nuke@NickMinutemanC@SmugAlana No I know, I’m just saying its rough to advocate for the good of humanity just for someone to do some dumb shit or horrible shit not even 2 seconds after
@Invincible_Nuke@NickMinutemanC@SmugAlana While I don’t disagree that might be a bit far, literally one of the other replies was this so its just unfortunate

@NickMinutemanC@SmugAlana loyalty? that's not loyalty. loyalty is to the living or principles.
romanticising grief and not letting go of the past is just being neurotic.
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 You can prove a species was incapable of something before it went extinct by comparing it to similar organisms that currently exist or others in its own era. Ancient fish for example were incapable of flight, while some have recently developed gliding.
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 As you said, you believed they wouldn’t be able to evolve intelligence even when I pointed out that dinosaurs filled each niche including the ones our ancestors filled. Given the extra time and given the similar circumstances some likely would’ve, and I gave examples in favor
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 Knowing that tool usage is likely not a human or even mammal invention and predates us then would it not be more than likely that some creature in the era of dinosaurs era would be capable of tool usage? So again I ask, what proof do you have that none of them had tool usage
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 Crows as we know them predate human tool usage by 9 million years and we have many recorded documentation that they use tools. The Coconut Octopus is also nearly as old as our own tool usage and has been documented using shells and coconuts as tools to defend and hide.
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 I don’t know whats so difficult to understand that while yes they wouldn’t form anything near where we have, birds and octopi which aren’t mammals and one of which is literally relatives of them, have formed tools therefor its likely a relative could do the same.
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 If Dinosaurs or ancient reptiles at the bare minimum filled each ecological niche, including the very same ones our own ancestors filled, and they were given far more time, more than likely they could have formed tools. Especially since other animals in modern time did so
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 And thats not what the question was, the question was could dinosaurs have evolved intelligent enough like to make ancient tools and considering the fact the filled every niche and had plenty of time, and the fact we have crows, octopi, dolphins, and apes that can it seems fair
@MarxismNoPhone@now_ats@Kunuckles@Urart3 Reptiles use to fill every niche so again I ask, looking at the sheer time they had what makes you think they couldn’t? We had some of the biggest marine predators as reptiles, flying predators as reptiles, scavengers, hunters, etc.
