In view of today's front page in special edition of The Sunday Post by @ladymcbeth2 highlighting women murdered in Scotland in their own homes. @WRNScotland
When I criticised the “top surgery” tiger display in a Chelmsford Lush store earlier this week, a former employee got in touch.
While she enjoyed the work, the company’s “constant activism” had left her exhausted. She said she also felt compelled to hide her gender-critical views, fearing the repercussions from colleagues.
Despite no longer working for the cosmetics brand, she asked to remain anonymous.
Whatever your views on gender identity, should people really have to hide lawful, reasonable views - shared by most people - for fear of being ostracised?
My latest for @Telegraph.

I had a magical experience with a bumblebee yesterday. I saw her on the bike path and thought she was a goner, she couldn’t move her front legs but I still didn’t want her squished so I tried bringing her to a flower and she starting eating! But the coolest thing was… 1/
We demand a full public enquiry into institutional misogyny.
The Scottish government has fought this long after even the Supreme Court told them to stop.
Do you imagine the culture that engendered this abusive interpretation of the Equality Act will disappear overnight?
We deserve a party. And this time, I defy any pub or public space to stop us again.
For years we have had to pretend to book back rooms for “knitting” after so many refusals when they realise we were meeting to discuss women’s issues.
“The staff didn’t feel safe”
You might find it difficult to do two things at once, Paul, but I find it remarkably easy to enjoy the millions I've made while continuing to care about women's rights.
@murdo_fraser@scottishprisons This is from the affidavit Ms Pollock gave the court in Feb. Those who developed and implemented the unlawful policy cannot fix the problems it has caused.
That letter shows exactly why: she is still wedded to the policy and should be immediately relieved of her duties.
Happy 8th Birthday @ForWomenScot. It's been quite the year, never mind 8 years. Thank you for everything you have done, all the risks you have taken, all the stress and abuse you have had to manage, from Scottish women and men 💜🤍💚
Responding to Ian Dunt's blog on the @EHRC Code of Practice turned out to be a big job. Here's Part 1 of my comments. More to follow when I've recovered my strength.

The @scotgov are ignoring the law, and restricting the press. Democracy has always been fragile. It needs accountability, scrutiny and honesty. Things @theSNP are skilled at avoiding.
@LucyHunterB@VivienMartin4 But also knowing this was a potential & likely outcome, why wasn’t any policy work or individual prisoner planning *already done* so that a) they could immediately move affected prisoners accordingly & b) immediately implement a new, lawful admission policy? They should be asked.
A comprehensive win for women. Will the First Minister apologise for the unlawful treatment imposed on female prisoners by his government? @ForWomenScot 👏👏👏

@EHRCScotland The situation in prisons was known at least 8 years ago, and reported to the EHRC numerous times. Women wouldn't have had to pursue expensive legal action if your enforcement powers had been used to hold Scotgov to account. There's still much to be done, will you step up?
